PROJECTS > Masterplan > Opal Ocean MasterPlan

The historic city of Hoi An is one of the leading tourist destinations in Vietnam. Since the inscription of the UNESCO World Heritage Site for its ancient town in 1999, the influx of tourists has generated a spill over development of this historic city.

Spans over 170 hectares on a flat beach land fronting the South China Sea and Vinh Cua Dai River, the Opal Ocean is a proposed mixed development located adjacent to the Hoi An town centre, connecting by the Cau Cua Dai Bridge. The key tourism component is the 27-hectares plot comprises hotel and beach resort villas, a tourism centre, and condotel along the broad promenade walk and seafront.

To be developed as a preferred destination for live, work and play, a selection of housings will be available, including the low rise villas, semi-detached houses, shop houses, link houses and water view houses, with an integrated lifestyle hub fronting a green park. The composition of housing types from the high-end to the low rise residential houses poised it a liveable neighbourhood with a good balance between individual, community and nature.

Surrounded by the linear cluster of houses and shophouses is the 12-hectares Linear Park. Envisaged as the crown jewel of the mixed development, the park will be linked to the lifestyle hub and seafront promenade walk, where the discernible tourism centre is located. Right in the heart of this lush park is a serene lake where the residents can unwind and enjoy the natural pristine.
