PROJECTS > Mixed-use > PWTC Redevelopment

Located in the northwestern side of the Kuala Lumpur city centre with an excellent public transportation network, PWTC KL is a regeneration and mixed development project of the existing Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC) complex built in the 1980s.

The new redevelopment with a gross floor area of over 375,000 square metres will be equipped with state-of-the-art facilities comprising a 7000-capacity auditorium, exhibition halls, banquet facilities, meeting rooms, business centres and other ancillary amenities. PWTC KL is envisioned to be the new world-class hub for Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE) to cater for both domestic and international needs.

With the concept of merging the old and new architecture, the public will have a glimpse of history with the preservation and refurbishment of the monumental landmarks of Dewan Merdeka and Menara Dato Onn while the current and future needs are fulfilled. These existing components will integrate seamlessly with a new 70-storey iconic tower that comprises grade-A office, luxury hotel and premium serviced apartment; a distinctive 36-storey upscale hotel tower; a brand new world-class Tun Razak Hall, a modern high-end exhibition hall, a high-capacity mosque and a vibrant lavish retail podium.

Encompassing the best of contemporary architecture and historical elements that highlight the city’s scale and identity, the PWTC KL regeneration development proffers the world-class opportunities for business, culture, entertainment and residency under a single prime address of Kuala Lumpur.
