PROJECTS > Healthcare > Asian Neuro and Cardiac Hospital

Positioned as the key referral and treatment centre for neuro – medicine in the region, the Asian Neuro and Cardiac Hospital is a neurological care, treatment and rehabilitation centre. As a premier and most advanced medical centre, the hospital has been serving the populace of Subang and Petaling Jaya areas.

Located on the main road en route to the Subang Skypark Airport, the site is closed to the Subang aviation industry area, bordered by the police air wing unit base. It has been designed with a capacity of 180 beds together with a provision for future expansion, and a wing dedicated for an institute of excellence with research & development (R&D) capabilities and facilities.

Consisting of a five-storey building and two-storey sub-basement for car park, the hospital facilities are divided into several inpatient accommodations and diagnostic and treatment facilities. The first component is a combination of one, two and four-bedded rooms, VIP suites with a devoted paediatric wing for children and young adults. Whilst the general facilities are five operating theatres, 20 beds of Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 20 beds of the High Dependency Unit, imaging department comprises general, ultrasound, CT and MRI, an oncology unit, 12 units of specialist consultation suites and executive screening.

Initially designed with an influence of Art Modernist style, the whole composition has been refitted with the contemporary look and detailings. The interplay of vertical elements and white coatings has subdued the otherwise monotonous and vigorous brick finish.
