PROJECTS > Hotel & Resort > The Legends Resort Clubhouse

Perched on the far-reaching sea of palm oil trees, the Legends Golf and Country Resort is 486 hectares of a world-class golf course with resort facilities for business or leisure purposes. Easily connected with the North-South Expressway via the Sedenak toll exit, the resort has enticed golfers locally and abroad due to its signature golf course design.

Designed by the legendary pair of golfers, Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus, the Legends Resort golf course is among the 300 notable golf courses by these golf magnates worldwide. As part of the resort complementing facilities, a clubhouse was built to accommodate several sporting, leisure, entertainment and resort amenities, on top of an equestrian centre and the expansive 27-hole golf course.

Influenced by the tropical modern architectural style, the low-rise clubhouse building employs pitch roofing coverage with the generous openings and open areas to spur higher interactions between internal and external spaces. The interplay of levels also created a dynamic circulation for the spaces.

The double volume lobby welcomes the guests from the main drop-off, to be greeted by a deep fish pond as a rejuvenating water feature. The clubhouse also housed registration counter, pro-shop, changing rooms, spa facilities, restaurant and an airy terrace for outdoor dining. It also contains a two-level observation deck proffering a panoramic view of the golf course and function rooms with a ballroom for event purposes.
