PROJECTS > Masterplan > Residential > The Legends Resort Bungalows

Famous for its golf course designed by the world’s golf legends, Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus, The Legends Golf & Country Resort is among the handful of golf course with this exclusive design in the region. In an endeavour to upgrade and expand the resort in tandem with the current needs, a number of resort bungalow units have been proposed in the resort area.

Surrounded by the sea of palm oil plantation in the town of Sedenak in Johor, The Legends Golf & Country Resort is an exhaustive country club with tropical design inspiration. The main clubhouse houses key facilities, with an equestrian centre and outdoor recreational facilities. The resort bungalow provides short and long-term for golfers and resort visitors alike.

Consisting of six proposed types of bungalow houses in single and double storeys, the built-up ranging from 195 to 557 square metres (2,100 to 6,000 square feet). To be available in 134 units, the houses are arranged in a cluster layout where each house is aligned and linked by a neighbourhood road. It is perfectly nestled in the Jack Nicklaus golf course and bordered by a narrow man-made lake.

Merging the modern and contemporary design with tropical considerations, the design exhibits a clever treatment of horizontal and vertical planes. Incorporating the square and rectangular elements, the deep overhangs from the horizontal planes give shading to the veranda and courtyard areas. The full-height glass walls are furnished with louvres, serve aesthetically, and functionally of the whole bungalow composition.
