On 5th January 2023, a design critique session was held for Year 3 architecture students at the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) main campus in Bangi, Selangor. The session focused on the students’ Micro Entrepreneurship Development Centre project and our Head of BIM, Ts. Muhammad Hazim Azami was once invited to attend as a guest critic.

The students presented their designs for the project and received feedback and constructive criticism from Ts. Hazim. He praised the students’ creativity and innovative ideas while encouraging them to consider practical aspects such as functionality, sustainability, and budget.

Ts. Hazim also shared his insights on the use of Building Information Modelling (BIM) in architecture and urged the students to incorporate it into their future designs. He emphasized the importance of staying current with technological advancements and implementing them in their work.

The design critique session provided the students with a valuable opportunity to receive feedback from an industry professional and gain a deeper understanding of the architecture field. The session inspired them to continue developing their skills and knowledge, ensuring they are well-equipped for their future careers as architects.
