The Tanjong Karang Community College (KKTK) held a BIM Proficiency Enhancement Programme for all Architecture Technology Certificate lecturers on 8 September 8 2023. The aim of this program is to enhance the lecturers’ understanding of BIM-related modules and improve their proficiency in using BIM software. The course was delivered by Ts. Muhammad Hazim bin Azami, Director/Head of BIM at NRY Architects.

The programme was designed to provide lecturers with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively teach BIM to their students. The lecturers were given hands-on training in using various BIM software packages, such as Autodesk Revit and ArchiCAD. They were also taught about BIM best practices and how to incorporate BIM into the design and construction process.

The program was well-received by the lecturers, who found it to be informative and practical. They were grateful for the opportunity to learn from a BIM expert and to gain valuable hands-on experience. The programme organiser was confident that the lecturers will be able to use their newly acquired skills to benefit their students. They hope that this program will help to improve the quality of BIM education at the Tanjong Karang Community College.
