NRY Architects, through BIM Department, continues its CSR activities in education cause by sharing our BIM knowledge and expertise with young and future architects. Hosted by the Architecture Department of the Faculty of Engineering and Built Environment (FKAB) of the Islamic Science University of Malaysia (USIM), the session was held virtually and moderated by Ar. IDr. Dr. Fadli Arabi, the architecture lecturer of FKAB.

Ts. Hazim, the Head of BIM, has shared his experience and knowledge of BIM application through his presentation entitled “BIM Application in Architecture”.  Around 20 students participated in the online webinar who were the BSc Arch or Part 1 students of the department. Despite the school’s young age, the department has occasionally brought external speakers and inputs to impart into their architectural learning process.

Many topics and issues were shared by Ts. Hazim included the vital implementation stage and the steps in setting up BIM-related hardware and software and other common issues in the industry. The session has enticed students to stay throughout the session, and Ar. Fadli himself has also personally invited Ts. Hazim to partake in the upcoming student design crit sessions, especially related to BIM and Revit applications in their design works.
