Our BIM outreach programme continued this year with a talk session at the Faculty of Design and Architecture (FRSB), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) in Serdang main campus, Selangor. The session with our Head of BIM, Ts. Muhammad Hazim Azami was the last session of four series of talks on BIM organised by the Department of Architecture of FRSB.

The talk basically uncovered the BIM application in architectural practice, on how it is being implemented and its execution stage. The talk ends with a case study of a project fully completed using BIM, the Warner Bros Theme Park in Abu Dhabi, UAE, where Ts. Hazim was directly involved in the project.

The talk that was streamed online has also enticed the fourth and fifth-year of M.Arch students and practitioners, as BIM is also taught at FRSB. The session was the first ever sharing session by NRY Architects at UPM, after the earlier engagement at various other local institutions.
