The course is designed to evoke and develop students’ creativity and critical thinking from the understanding of the design principles and theories of architecture in relation to human activities spatial qualities. This is rendered as an outset step in understanding the architectural design principles.

Through this studio-based course, the students have learned and explored designing a writer’s capsule, based on different geographical locations and inhabitants’ professions. Various design schemes and working models are presented, which have intrigued the external panels to know more from the students themselves. Earlier on, the students have also produced their 2D and 3D artworks as part of group assignment.

Well done to all of these students and may their learning path exhilarate as much as the exciting and experiential learning nature of the architectural world!
