Design Critique Session with Taylor’s University Students
The design critique session is always synonymous with architecture and design learning process. This is the time when the students will get live feedback and input on their design works of studio course. One of the final crit sessions of the year was the Architectural Design V course for architecture students at Taylor’s University.
Our architect, Mr Afifudin, was invited to be one of the assessors for the design crit session. The 3rd year 1st semester students were tasked with designing a Community Centre for the Creative City as part of the Architecture for place-making learning subject. Through the session, students had a chance to learn and gain insights from industry practitioners related to their studies.
From time to time, we always welcome any invitation from architecture schools, whether to be part of design crit assessors or give input on architectural design or BIM technology. This is part of our CSR efforts in giving back to the community, especially in the education cause, as we believe in nurturing local architecture talents that will flourish our construction industry in the future.
