NRY Architects Involves in A Doctoral Study On Multi-Actor Social Collaboration in BIM Construction Projects

As a full-fledge BIM architecture firm, NRY Architects has been actively adopted this construction technology application in various projects. With the fast-pacing evolution and development of the construction industry in Malaysia, NRY Architects believes in embracing this technology as the way forward in our approach of architectural design and construction management.

In view of this policy, our Architect / BIM Coordinator, Mr. Muhammad Hazim, has been recently engaged by a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) candidate from the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Shah Alam, Selangor, as one of the selected interviewees for a doctoral study on BIM application in the construction industry.

The research interview is aimed to develop a tool for measuring multi-actor social collaboration in BIM construction projects through a Delphi method survey. Divided into two sections, the interview questionnaire encompasses of two main categories, which are the BIM management strategy and organisational platform, that delved into the related key attributes of BIM application from various aspects and indicators.

NRY Architects welcomes mutual collaborations with any interested parties, especially in the education/institutional sector, in developing and disseminating the interest of BIM technology and application in the construction industry. We wish all the best to the doctorate student in completing this study for the benefits of the construction industry as a whole.
