The BIM Department, headed by Muhammad Hazim Azami, has recently organised an online training session for the architects. The hands-on training was conducted through the Zoom platform with the convenience of the participants respective workstation.

The training was held on Tuesday, 20th April 2021, during the lunch hour that saw a good response from the fellow architects on the use of Naviswork, as an integral component tool of BIM. The online training was held to introduce Naviswork and its associated files (NWC, NWF, and NWD), as well as its interface (tab, command). The session has also introduced Naviswork navigation, such as pan, rotate, etc and how to enable sectioning using move, place and rotate. Hazim has also shared how to save viewpoints, comments, markups and the export/import viewpoints aspects (collaboration).

This is the first online training on BIM as it was a part of the enrichment programmes organised by the BIM Department. Its objective among others is to equip NRY Architects personnel with the latest tips and tricks of BIM, to be applied in their daily operation tasks, as NRY Architects has adopted BIM in most of their construction projects.
