June 24, 2022 Activities, Announcement 0

It’s time to bowl and roll! After the two gathering events of Buka Puasa and Hari Raya, the first indoor sports activity was held by the NRY CREWS. The all-time sports activity of all, bowling day, is back after a hiatus of more than 9 years.

Held at Wangsa Bowl 1 Utama, the NRY Bowling Tournament 2022 was organised on 24th June 2022 that saw a whopping number of 64 participants, consisting of NRY staff members. This was time for them to flaunt their bowling skills and champ’s striker moves, where everyone was playing hard and competitively to win the attractive prizes.

The event began at 3.30 pm after the end of Friday’s working day. The organising committee members led by Hazim have set up the prize table and name list of all 18 participating bowling teams on the notice board. 16 lanes were reserved for the event at the end left side of the bowling hall.

After the 15-minute trial session ends, the tournament begins with everyone throwing the bowl and aiming for the pins. Every team comes with unique chants and dress-up themes, which have turned the bowling hall into a lively and buzzing atmosphere. At around 4.30 pm, the venue organiser served light tea break refreshments.

Everyone was so pumped into the games as of 5.00 pm, most teams had completed their games, and the games thereafter were free play. By 5.30 pm, the game had completely ended, and the results were later produced and obtained by the organising committees. Later on, the prize-giving ceremony begins with the opening remarks by the master of ceremony, Haziq, who is also part of the organising committees.
