Similarly, the CPD programmes for architects like talks, seminars and courses were also held virtually by various organisations like PAM, LAM and others. In an announcement by LAM in late October 2021, an exemption of CPD points and reduction of renewal fees have further alleviated the burden faced by the professionals in these trying times. The Malaysian government, through its various agencies, has introduced several measures to help the affected companies and employees by the economic lockdowns or MCO to mitigate the COVID-19 transmission in the country.
