In the pursuit of disseminating knowledge and awareness of BIM, the NRY’s BIM Department was honoured to be part of an online symposium organised by the BIM and Digital Construction Research Cluster (BIMDiC) of the Faculty of Engineering and Quantity Surveying, INTI International University, in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan. The symposium is aimed at creating greater awareness of BIM through Architectural Practice and experience.

Together with another speaker of a practising architect, Ts. Muhammad Hazim Azami was given the first session of 45 minutes to talk about the BIM application in architecture through the Microsoft Team online platform. The session was conducted in a virtual symposium mode, as the participants were featured like sitting in a lecture hall.

At the end of the symposium, a Q&A session was held as many questions were thrown from almost 40 participants of the online symposium. Through this symposium, it has given much input and ideas to the students and faculty members on the real-life application of BIM, particularly in architecture and construction projects.
