An exciting media collaboration was forged between NRY Architects and the global brand of ironmongery specialist Assa Abloy. Through a local public relations agency, VoxEureka, who had first approached NRY Architects for a podcast media project, particularly our Head of Design Architect, Mrs. Siti Suzana Yazid.

Entitled “Safe Space”, the podcast is a media project by Assa Abloy that covers various facets of space safety and security, with the flagship episode talking about hospital design. Suzana was also joined by other panellists, including Dr. Harry Dinesh Mahalingam, CEO of SP Care Group and Assa Abloy representatives, Mr. Akhtar Sulaiman and Mrs. Ooi Bee Horng, as the podcast anchor.

In the first episode, entitled “The Architecture of Safety: Hospital Design”, the speakers delve into the design concerns and medical considerations when building an effective medical institution, especially in this post-pandemic period. It was indeed a rewarding experience for Suzana and other panellists as the recording session was made in a makeshift studio set up by VoxEureka in their office in Subang Jaya, Selangor.
